Who we are

Paul’s Journey is a free story game at apostlespath.app that walks players through the missionary journeys of the apostle Paul. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

• Account details. If you sign in with an email address or with Google, we store your email address, a sign-in identifier, and the display name you choose. We never see or store your password.
• Game progress. The scenes you complete, the choices you make, your provisions, encouragement and standing, and the lessons you unlock — so your journey is still there next time you sign in.
• Questions you ask characters. When you ask a character a question in a scene, the question and the scene it came from are sent to an AI service so an answer can be written. We do not keep a record of these questions after the answer is returned.

We do not collect payment details, contacts, location, photos, or any information beyond what is listed above.

How we use it

Only to run the game: to sign you in, to save and restore your journey, and to answer questions you ask inside a scene. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Who else is involved

Sign-in and saved progress are handled by our hosting and database provider on our behalf. Google is involved only if you choose to sign in with a Google account. Questions asked in a scene are processed by an AI provider to generate the reply. These providers process the data for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Children

The game is written for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

Your account and saved progress stay until you ask us to delete them. Once deleted, the account, the display name, and the saved journey are removed and cannot be restored.

Your choices

You can reset your journey at any time from inside the game, change your display name, or ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it. You may also ask for a copy of what we hold about you.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
